On September 18, we didn’t just get together for coffee: we reignited the collective fire at Nexus. It was a day dedicated to our teams, to reconnect, celebrate our accomplishments, and plan for 2026 together.
Our DNA, back-to-school edition
At Nexus, we like to do things our way, without dressing up as overly serious corporate types. That’s what this day was all about: inspiring content, practical workshops, but also spontaneity, laughter, and feel-good conversations.
What we did, and what stood out
☕ A warm welcome, because it always starts with a good cup of coffee
At 8:30 a.m., we welcomed our people with a nice back-to-school gift, a towel in our colors. We took the opportunity to treat ourselves to breakfast to start the day off right!
Opening remarks + review of the past year
Louis-Philippe, our President, opened the day with sincerity: successes, failures, lessons learned. It was honest. A bit like a review among friends, but with shared ambitions and goals. We also focused a lot on our goals for 2026.
Themed workshops
Because we believe in collective expertise, our people led workshops throughout the day to share their knowledge with the rest of the team! AI, Power Platform, lines of code… everyone could join in on topics that interested them, or, conversely, those that took them out of their comfort zone. TheseThese workshops provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, see things from different perspectives, and find collective solutions.
Mental health workshop with Jean-François Lacasse
Because the well-being of our people is at the heart of our culture, we welcomed Jean-François Lacasse for a workshop dedicated to mental health. Inspiring and humane, this moment opened up essential discussions about balance, resilience, and self-care.
Good food and cocktails with our partners
We ended the day with drinks and dinner shared with some of our partners and clients to celebrate the past year and the year ahead.
