A commitment we take seriously: supporting diversity in tech

For two years running, we have had the privilege of making a donation to the non-profit organization DigiWomen during the holiday season. This gesture, which is much more than a tradition, reflects our deep conviction that diversity drives innovation. By supporting DigiWomen, we are helping to create a space where female talent can flourish and inspire the entire technology industry.

At Nexus Innovations, diversity is at the heart of our vision

We believe that Quebec’s technological future depends on a wealth of perspectives and experiences. Our ambition? An ecosystem where everyone, regardless of gender or background, can innovate and achieve their full potential. That’s why we are actively involved in initiatives that make a real difference, such as DigiWomen and J’ose la tech.

DigiWomen: shining a light on female talent

DigiWomen highlights women’s contributions to the tech sector. Through inspiring TED Talk-style conferences, this initiative gives them a platform to share their experiences, challenges, and successes.

We had the pleasure of hosting their latest event on February 19, 2025, at our offices. This evening of discussion and networking, dedicated to women in tech and their allies, provided an opportunity to meet experts and discover inspiring career paths.

Three key themes guided the meeting:

  • Highlighting the contribution of women from diverse backgrounds in the technology industry.
  • Raising awareness of the importance of inclusion and representation.
  • Providing a space for discussion and networking for professionals in the field.

As a partner, we help amplify these voices and inspire the next generation of female talent.

Our commitment also extends to young people with J’ose la tech, a pilot program rolled out in a school in Laval. It introduces students, particularly those from diverse backgrounds, to emerging technologies through robotics and artificial intelligence workshops.

Over five to six sessions, participants develop their own AI agent based on themes they choose. The three most promising teams will then receive additional support to bring their projects to fruition.

At the same time, we are working with teachers to integrate this program into the school curriculum on a long-term basis.

An inclusive future, a shared responsibility

At Nexus Innovations, we know that our role goes beyond developing technological solutions. It extends to sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for future generations. By dedicating time and resources to these initiatives, we reaffirm our commitment to a more inclusive and accessible technology sector.

Because together, we are shaping a Quebec where diversity is synonymous with innovation.

Let us be part of your transformation.
